Hanazuki Studio

Hanazuki Studio Shop was founded in Amsterdam by Niko Stumpo and Hanneke Metselaar, as a street level venture with the intentions to bring free flowing creativity to the masses. Or as they say it, like a moonflower (hanazuki) that brings its colours in to the darkness of the night. Aside from working with top-notch clients such as Nokia, Mimobot, or Quiksilver, Hanazuki is a strong promoter of youth culture and holds regular puppet-monster making labs, animation and illustration workshops.

N8 Van Dyke

“Anything you can do, I can do better,” may be a silly quote, but it was the notion that started N8 Van Dyke’s graphic design career. As a kid, he realized that he could draw far better than his peers and it gave him inspiration to continue. Watching his mother sculpt encouraged him to be free and do his own thing. By the time Nate finished high school he had secured scholarships to different art schools, but turned them all down to pursue his self-taught craft. After continuously winning a cartoon competition at a county fair, Nate landed a job that provided financial stability, but it wasn’t until he began getting phone calls from clients that his career snowballed into the perfect storm.

Nike+Sport Music X Serato X DJ A-TRAK

Here’s something all you Serato DJs are gonna want. Nike+ Sport Music has teamed up with Serato White Label Delivery Network for the first official 12” control vinyl picture-disc. You’ll probably recognize the “Mr. A” figure from A-Trak’s Original Run album, which was designed by Brooklyn-based artist Dust La Rock. If you haven’t heard the tunes yet, pick it up at the Nike Sport Music section of the iTunes Store for $9.99. Like all things limited edition it’s not easy to get your hands on. Almost impossible. There’s 1,000-copies floating around and the majority of those are going to Serato and Whitelabel.net DJs. We’re not here to tease, though, we got our hands on 2 copies and now I’m offering them up to you. I was thinking about making you do all kinds of weird things that you probably wouldn’t want others to know about to score one of these. Nah…all good. Just send me an email with a few words about why you deserve this more than the next guy.
